Nowadays there are tons of games out on Android and in some ways almost too many. It is hard to sift through the utter mass of them all to find good games.

I remember bemoaning the lack of games in the Android ecosystem back in 2011, when I got my first Android device — quality games were few and far apart, and iOS seemed to be getting all the love from developers.

Android may have yet another disappointing year in terms of matching the game releases on the iOS platform, but that’s not to say we haven’t witnessed great games on the platform.

In 1989, game designer and author Jordan Weisman let his imagination run wild and created the ultimate fantasy universe for the geeks of his time: Shadowrun brought together magical creatures, cyberpunks, urban mercenaries and evil corporations in a futuristic dystopian world.

It will be interesting to see how will NFL and FIFA move on the table in the next few weeks, especially since the PC version of the latter was on top position on several lists in the UK.

Kickstarter has made some awesome games and revivals possible for all systems.
