The huge fighting game set in the DC comics universe, Injustice: Gods Among Us, has been out for consoles for quite some time but now you can download it for free on your Android device. NetherRealm Studios has done a great job at creating a huge collaboration with a huge roster of DC comic heroes and villains and letting us pit them together to fulfill our wildest nerdy fantasies.
While Injustice: Gods Among Us is a 3 v 3 fighting game for DC comics it has reminiscent features akin to Marvel Puzzle Quest. Mainly how you collect the heroes and villains to create your team and some of the characters have alternate editions of themselves with different movesets and powers. In Injustice: Gods Among Us the list of characters goes on and on but a few are Batman, Green Arrow, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern. Battle arenas are also varied and represented from multiple characters such as fighting in Arkham Asylum, the Batcave, and other iconic locales.
Injustice: Gods Among Us delivers pretty good 3D graphics with multiple animations for each character’s power. The touch screen controls also seem to work well with Injustice: Gods Among Us as you simply tap and swipe to perform combos which are the same ones from the console versions. I think this is a better control system than most fighting games currently and should prove to work great.
