It seems the OUYA is trying anything and everything to gain back some steam for the console. Just a couple days ago on the official OUYA twitter account they tweeted about a new white colored OUYA console. Now this isn’t an OUYA 2 or any other type of advanced sequel, just strictly an aesthetic change option.
So if you are looking at the OUYA to be your ticket to playing Android games on your tv or want a nice media streaming box but didn’t like the typical original black version, there is now a sleek modern looking white version. There is some rumor that the controller is slightly modified to be better as well as that it offers 16 gigs internal memory compared to the usual 8, but that is all rumor and not officially announced. However, it may make sense to tweak things a bit as an OUYA 2 has been announced for later next year.
