Even two decades after its original release, it appears that the Final Fantasy series is weaving its magic in the hearts and minds of players, just on different and more varied platforms. If you’re a fan of the Japanese RPG series and have been dying to play the sixth installment of the game, Final Fantasy VI, now’s the chance; if you are in Europe and the U.S that is.
In the mobile remake of Final Fantasy VI, the graphics have been recreated under the supervision of one of its original designers, Kazuko Shibuya. The game has also been optimized with intuitive touch controls for smartphone screens. In particular, players will notice that the battle interface has a completely refreshing look.
Players will also get to experience the magicite system, which was used in the 2006 remake to control spells and make use of the most powerful sword, the Ultima Weapon in the game.
Without further ado, pick up Final Fantasy VI on the Play Store for $15.99.
