The hack ‘n’ slash French classic RPG, Darkstone has landed on Android, thanks to the efforts of Anuman Interactive. The game is heavily inspired by Diablo but does a great deal more, which should be great news for fans.
Darkstone is set in the fantasy lands of Uma where a dark Lord Draak, who is capable of transforming himself into a dragon, has brought death and destruction to the land. You are charged with the task of invading the evil Lord’s lair and slaying him. However, things are not so easy, as you will first have to find the seven crystals to recreate the time orb, without which the villain cannot be defeated.
That’s an interesting enough story, but it is the action and combat sequences that are going to endear itself to players. There’s plenty of content to keep you engaged for hours: hundreds of enemies to combat, loads of weapons to work with, spells to master, 8 character classes to choose from, and plenty of stuff to upgrade and improve upon.
Darkstone is an action packed game with pretty decent graphics (for a ported version) and great replay value that is definitely worth a download. If you are ready to give it a go, just click the link below. The game is available for the price of free.
