The Canadian team of Crafted Reveries planned on educating children about the beautiful world of plants, ended up making Shu’s Garden, and now find that despite a Kickstarter disappointment, have created a game that is sure to delight players of all ages.
Shu’s Garden you see, is a beautifully crafted game where you guide a bouncy little alien called Shu around her planet, helping her nourish the soil, collect seeds from blossoms and plant them to turn her planet into a beautiful garden.Shu can shrink herself into a tiny ball, build up that energy to hurl herself high into the air, collect plant blossoms and seeds, and then shake off in new areas to plant them.
Shu has over 30 different types of plants and flowers to interact with, a cute little friend Ira to play with, ancient relics to discover, strange creatures to encounter and plenty of exotic places to explore in her journey.
The game’s controls are simple and straightforward, just tilt the device to roll to the left or right, tap on the screen to shrink and then bounce into the air, and shake the device to release the seeds.
Shu’s garden is no doubt a great game for the kids, but I’ll bet it’s a game that adults won’t mind indulging in as well. It is available on the Play Store for $2.99.
