Plants vs. Zombies fans finally get to sit down with their favorite game again. Why? Because the sequel has finally opened up a new world called Far Future with 24 levels of gameplay, 8 types of plants, and 10 hi-tech futuristic zombies.
New plants include Citron, who can damage the Mechs such as the Robo-Cone Zombie and the Disco-tron 300; Laser Bean, who can pierce through the defenses of the Shield Zombie; Infi-Nut, who has the ability to regenerate health; E.M. Peach, who can disable mech zombies that munch away all the sunflowers; Magnifying Grass, which can send out a powerful blast; Star Fruit, which can shoot stars in five directions; and Blover who can blow away a herd of Jetpack Zombies.
Also with the update is a spanking new Zen Garden, which players of the original game will remember. It gets a refreshing look in this update giving you the chance to make some extra dough as well as build up some plant boosts (that last for one level). Just play a few levels in Far Future, kill some zombies, collect potted plants, plant them in the Zen garden, and water them to earn coins and boosts. Bernie, the Zen Garden bee will be around as always, to help you speed up your boost times.
Also a new element introduced in the game are power tiles; there are different types of them and feeding plant food on any of the tiled plants will create a ripple effect of the plant boost. Fantastic stuff indeed!
The update has plenty of exciting stuff to unlock, so you’ll be forgiven if you skip the trailer and head over to smack that update button on your Android.
