The DJMax series of action rhythm music games may have its Korean roots, but now that the franchise has taken a leap onto the Android platform in the form of DJMax Technika Q, its only going to get a worldwide fan base.
In the game, you will be required to tap the screen when the timeline moves across the notes. Songs will be playing in the background and hitting the correct notes will fill up the missing sounds from the songs. When you have filled up the gauge at the top of the screen, just hit it to go into Fever mode. Power ups will also come in to play in times of music crunching mayhem.
Unlike other games of the genre, you have a split screen system where the music flows from the left and from the right of the screen. You’ll also have the ability to customize the effects and notes with stuff you’ll collect while playing or by picking them up in-store via IAPs.
The game features over 50 songs ranging from a plethora of genres including ethnic groove, tropical jazz, punk rock and other DJ styled music that will give your fingers a good workout.
You can also challenge your friends and try to grab top scores to see who the best music DJ is. Are you game? Just head over to the Google Play Store to pick up the game for free.
