Rovio’s kart racer Angry Birds Go! is all set to get a new update on Android that will let you race against your friends and opponents.
You will need a Piggy Island Driver’s License to get on the multiplayer bandwagon, and once you do, you can compete against three other players in the Quick Race mode. If you prefer to take on your friends, you can sign in to your Facebook account and show them who’s the king of the track.
The best part of this update is that the multiplayer gameplay is asynchronous, which means you don’t even have to be online to race against your opponents. Rovio has also indicated that this is just the first part of the multiplayer release and that there will be further multiplayer updates coming soon.
The latest update is already live on the iOS platform, with no indication on when it will land on Android. We will keep you updated when it goes live on Google Play, so keep watching this space.
