Gameloft, the guys who brought you the amazing Asphalt 8: Airborne are in a celebratory mood. Why? because their highly anticipated first person shooter game Modern Combat 5: Blackout is nearing launch (July 24th). And what better way to kick off the celebrations than to launch a special time limited event for another one of their popular games…you guessed it…Asphalt 8: Airborne.
In the new event, players get to race in the Venice track that has been modified for the purpose. The track will feature explosions, collapsible buildings and a lot more unexpected happenings. The scenery is definitely a hell of a lot different and fun and should be a refreshing change from the usual stuff players are used to seeing.
BUT, here’s the biggest reason you’ll want to be taking part in the event. The best players have a chance of winning a free copy of the Modern Combat 5: Blackout, which is likely to be available on Thursday at around the 7 dollar mark.
