Just a couple days ago Asphalt 8: Airborne, the award winning racing game, was updated and lost its $0.99 price in favor for being free. In addition to the price change Asphalt 8: Airborne also received a slew of updated content including more cars, cups, and tracks.
Specifically, a Clio R.S has been added and more cars are said to be coming soon. For cups, there is now a lot of new limited time cups such as the Clio R.S. Cup (again, more will be added). These limited cups will allow you to win credits, upgrades and new cars as well. If interesting I suppose it is worth mentioning that for the Clio R.S. Cup the winner worldwide will win a real Clio R.S. In addition to more cars and cups, a multiplayer world series has been added which has tracks spanning Nevada, Iceland, Tokyo, and more. There are also new boosters such as the Tuning Kit, Nitro, or Double Credits boost to help you along your racing way. Also updated is new customizable controls so you don’t have to be restricted by touch screen and controller support is said to be added. Note that this update has only hit iOS so far (aside from the price change) but is hitting Android very soon.
