Colin McRae Rally has been delighting console and PC fans long enough. Its high time we Android gamers got a taste of all that crazy speeding action on the dirt, don’t you think? Well, if you concur with me, there’s good news. Colin McRae Rally has officially landed on the Android platform for $4.99.
Thumbstar Games claims it is the number one racing game in over 83 countries and we’re not disputing that. Players can get behind the wheels of four legendary rally cars such as the Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, Lancia Stratos and Ford Focus, and race through beautiful stunning environments set in the Australian Outback, Grecian mountains, and the twisted roads of Corsica.
The routes will be read by professional rally co-driver Nicky Grist, who will be your guide through each level. Three game modes Single Rally, Single Stage, and Championship will provide players with a bit of variety so that they can go for some quick races, take on full rallies or participate in Championship races. There are options to customize the control schemes and the play views and share the best times on leaderboards for rally glory.
The content in Colin McRae Rally does appear to be a little thin when compared to the console version, and the price a little steep, but if you’re a racing fan, its going to be hard to stay away from this one.
