The King of Fighters ’98, the fifth game in the popular series has landed on the Play Store. Fans of the brawler series will remember KOF ‘98 for the fact that it departed from the conventional storyline by bringing back characters who were killed off in earlier versions of the game.
As we menioned in our previous article, the game features 38 playable characters, “Iori” and “American Sports” teams as well as “Shingo Yabuki” and “Rugal Bernstein”. You can play the game with its original 4 buttons config or enjoy the unique 6 button settings. A single SP button now makes it possible for you to switch on your special moves.
Thanks to the Bluetooth Multiplayer Mode, two players can challenge each other on the same device. You have two different game modes Extra and Advanced to play the never ending dream matches and can practice all your combos in the Training mode.
The game is yours for $3.99, which is a pretty neat price to play for a console masterpiece!
