GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and Max Payne Just Got a Whole Lot Cheaper

Drugs, violence and prostitutes may not be the best real-life hobbies, but they sure are fun to mess with in video games. Whether you’re a low-level thug trying to kill as many pedestrians at possible or a drunk, pill-popping New York cop with a dramatic internal dialogue, there’s just something about doing illegal stuff in a virtual world. Rockstar, the people responsible for classic titles like Max Payne Mobile and the Grand Theft Auto series, understands this better than anyone – and now, with some of their best work on sale in the Play Store, you can experience all the e-depravity you want without having to rob someone in the real world. For a short time, £1.99 will net you the Android version of any one of these popular games:

For the record, I have no idea what that converts to in dollars, and frankly I’m too lazy to look it up. Whatever the cost, it’s certainly lower than the process they launched at. If you scoffed at the $7-and-up pricetag on any of these games when they first came out (or the cool fifty bucks they cost on their original consoles) it’s the perfect time to pony up a few bucks and see what you’ve been missing out on. If you didn’t scoff and already have all three games, well, we don’t know exactly what to tell you. At least you have some awesome games to pass the time, right?
