King.com, makers of Candy Crush Saga have a relatively new game on the block. Its called Pyramid Solitaire Saga and it’s a card game with a puzzle element that is set in ancient Egypt. In the game, you join archaeologist Helena and her trusted aide Kingsley the gerbil as they raid ancient tombs and bring back treasures from the tombs of the Pharaohs.
In the game you have cards that are arranged in different pyramid formations. You must collect a bunch of gold cards that are buried at the bottom of the card stacks. Using the cards in your hand, you clear off the ones on the table depending on whether they are one step higher or lower than yours. You get points for grabbing the hidden gold cards but you also get points when you have ordinary cards still left on the table.
Scarabs, joker cards and other cool boosters add to the excitement in the gameplay. Each episode in the game also holds a hidden treasure, which when unveiled can transport you to magical new worlds and quests. Cute graphics and Egyptian themed music add an extra charm to the proceedngs.
Pyramid Solitaire Saga has enough variations in it to give the classic game a fresh spin. Whether you want to play alone or challenge your friends for top scores, there’s something to keep you entertained for hours.
