In case you have been living under a rock for the last couple weeks then you’ll have seen all the talk about the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who that aired in theaters and on BBC. Lots of different media took notice and even Google made their doodle an interactive Doctor Who game. Well, in addition to all that hype, Tiny Rebel Games released a Doctor Who themed game called Doctor Who: Legacy where you get to interact through the 50 years of Doctor Who.
Much like the new Marvel Puzzle Quest game, Doctor Who: Legacy plays like a match 3 Bejeweled type mobile game. Doctor Who: Legacy has the elements that are standard in puzzle RPGs, so you’ll formulate your team of your favorite companions and allies as you battle famous enemies like Weeping Angles and Daleks. However, unlike most puzzle RPGs that have terrible energy systems, Doctor Who: Legacy promises no energy systems. Currently there are episodes in Doctor Who: Legacy from seasons 6 and 7 with more from season 5 (as well as new characters, etc.) are coming early 2014.
