Trine 2: Complete Story Comes to Android But Who’s Playing?

I’ll start with the bad news right away. You know a good game when you see it, but when it comes with a Tegra K1-only tag, (I’ll bet) you’re going to use all the expletives you can think of to vent out your frustration. Its okay, go ahead! Feel better now. Great! Now onto the game.

Trine 2 is a mystical adventure game that gained popularity on PC and consoles, with multiple expansions feeding addicted players’ passions over time. Frozenbyte has now made the game available for Android although currently only gamers with a Tegra K1 powered processor can enjoy it. Simply put, if you’ve got a Xiaomi Mi Pad 7.9 and plenty of dollars to spare, its yours for the taking.

The game also comes preloaded on the Nvidia Shield Tablet which will be landing in the US and Europe next month, so if you’re not too keen on the Mi Pad, you can pick up a Shield Tablet for just under $300 to play the game for free, which by the way is a desperate and terribly bad idea anyway!

Trine 2: Complete Story is so titled because it pools the Goblin Menace expansion and the unlockable Dwarven Caverns level along with the main campaign. Players will take on the role of three fantastical hero characters, Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief, and Pontius the Knight as they embark on a fairytale adventure through lush green forests, burning deserts, and the insides of a giant sand worm, expending magic and solving physics based puzzles along the way.

Trine 2: Complete Story is available on Google Play Store for $13.95, which is a special launch price. Play it if you can!
