Just released the first day of January, Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge by Last Dimension, is hitting OUYA shelves (figuratively of course). The game has been available for PC for a while but now the humorous action packed game is making its way to other platforms.
If you don’t know about Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge it has quite the funny backstory. Basically, you play as the heroein Serena S who has just been trolled on Spacebook. The troll in question happens to be The Space Prince and the game therefore revolves around Serena exacting her petty revenge. If you were a fan of early home computer arcade games from the 80s and 90s with games like Astro Marine Corps, Duke Nukem 2 and especially Phantis/Game Over II then Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge is your game. There is a lot of action based jumping and shooting in pixelated goodness accompanied by a retro chiptune soundtrack. Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge all around is a good call back to games of the golden days and is a great one to pick up.
